They say, "It takes a whole village to raise a child. What does it take to raise a group of orphans and street children?" Together we can do a lot.
The association Congos Børn is my biggest mission. Now no longer mine alone, but a joint mission with 10 other amazing, dedicated and caring people. Together we can do a lot. Together we can give orphans and street children in the Democratic Republic of Congo a better future.
On 17.02.2023, the association Congos Børn was established. On 19.03 we held our first board meeting. Now the board and I are preparing my trip to D.R.Congo. We have been working non-stop since the establishment of the association.
Congo's Children's first mission starts now.
I'm on my way to D.R. Congo to legalize NGO documents so we can start helping street children and orphans in the capital Kinshasa in D.R.Congo. I need to find premises for our first project: 'VIGALEX'. A place where street children and orphans can come for a meal and socializing. A respite where responsible adults will take care of them. A place where they can be allowed to be children. I will also visit other orphanages to find out about their experiences. First of all, I'm going to the streets of Kinshasa to get in touch with the children who most need a helping hand.
