On December 20, 2023, we signed the lease on a house in Kinshasa!A house that will serve as temporary housing for our group of street children until we have finished building an orphanage on our own land.
Over the past weeks, board member of VIGALEX, Betty, and several other local members, have been busy looking for suitable housing that could serve as housing for our group of street children.
It has been a demanding process, but now it has finally succeeded, and we are incredibly happy to be able to tell the children that we have now found them a home!
The home consists of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and 2 kitchens and a large garden.
Rooms and walls that are supposed to form a safe environment and constitute a home for a group of children who have lived on the streets for far, far too long.
This is a huge step for our relatively newly started organization, and we can hardly get our arms down, over this Christmas miracle!
